This unique Maragogype varietal has notes of of juicy lychee with a soft hazelnut finish.

Finca Los Arroyos is located in Esquipulas, in the eastern region on Guatemala. Luis Sagastume took over management of the farm in 1988 though the farm has been operated by the Sagastume family since 1914.

This coffee has been grown intermittently between banana trees to provide shade and biodiversity. After harvesting, the coffee has been fully washed, fermented for 18-20 hours before being partially sun-dried and finished off in a mechanical dryer. 

The maragogype varietal is a rare varietal found among Latin America and is known for its unusually large size and flavour potential.

Roasted for filter brew methods such as pour-over, Delter press or plunger.
