Originally from Ethiopia, this unique Gesha varietal is well known for its complex flavours and floral notes. 


Grown by producer Jairo Arcila at his farm Finca Castellon, this Gesha varietal has undergone extended fermentation to elevate to another level giving it a unique flavour profile of mandarin, watermelon & jasmine. 


Jairo Arcila has spent a great deal of his coffee career as a mill manager at RaCafe, Colombia's second largest coffee exporter. From there, Jairo Arcila stepped into producing and growing coffee and has been doing so for over 20 years now. On Finca Castellon, Jairo Arcila has planted many rare and unique coffee varietals alongside this Gesha varietal.


The coffee cherries are processed at Finca La Pradera, a community processing plant championing unique processing methods such as this EF1 which they bring to the community to produce more extraordinary coffees such as this one.


Roasted for filter brew methods such as pour-over, Delter press or plunger.
