- The world of filter coffee including a pour over demo at Mojo Beanery

See in action all the behind the scenes work that goes into each and every coffee at our roastery on Wellington’s waterfront.

On completion of this course, you will receive a certificate for Mojo Coffee Barista and Hospitality. 

Unit Standard 17288 can be attached at an additional cost of $100 Level 3, 5 Achieved Credits, reported through our provider Hospitality Training Company.

Unfortunately, we are unable to run training from our Auckland locations.

Brilliant !!!

Great course with great trainers. I feel super comfortable in front of a coffee machine now, even though I have never before. Clear and concise instructions and teaching. I have learnt a lot about coffee!

Pretty informative

Although it took me some time, the hosts were patient with teaching me how to get used to using the machine and getting the right technique for milk pouring, I highly reccomend anyone aiming to be a barista this course, it was very productive and very informative, basically teaches you everything you need to know about being a barista while not being too complicated.

Comprehensive Introduction

Interesting and informative, the trainers were encouraging and knowledgeable. It was a great atmosphere and I felt as if I had learnt a lot even in just three days. Highly recommend!

Can't recommend highly enough

If you're a novice to coffee and looking to upskill, look no further, you won't be a novice anymore after working with the team at Mojo. The instructors strike the balance between fun and seriousness perfectly. Teaching is performed both 1 on 1 and in a team environment, simulating what it's like to work in a cafe. Great music as well, just don't play any jazz!!

Fun and Educational!

I recently did the 3-day course, and found it to be extremely informative without being an overload of information. Questions were always answered, jokes well received, and there was always a helping hand nearby. The trainers were so lovely, and helped to explain and guide you through every mistake. I highly recommend this course!
