From some of the industry’s leading trainers, you will learn over three days:

- Recipes

- Workflow and time management

- How to be a great barista

The world of filter coffee including a pour over demo at Mojo Beanery

See in action all the behind the scenes work that goes into each and every coffee at our roastery on Wellington’s waterfront.

On completion of this course, you will receive a certificate for Mojo Coffee Barista and Hospitality. 

Unit Standard 17288 can be attached at an additional cost of $100 Level 3, 5 Credits, reported through our provider Omegia Hospitality.

This course has a maximum of 9 students.

Unfortunately, we are unable to run training from our Auckland locations.

Best Barista Course ever!

I highly recommend this Barista course, gorgeous trainers (Katrina and Lisa) they were extremely patient and encouraging and gave us the skills and confidence to whip up great not just average coffees. I feel I have gained some great skills here and feel confident moving forward in this industry thanks to them. The Best Barista Training HQ in NZ!

I went into MOJO not knowing what to expect given my little knowledge of the roasting and machinery processes. Both Katrina and Lisa were exceptionally well skilled in passing on their knowledge and their secret tips for perfecting the perfect cup . I now have good knowledge of the extraction processes for many different types of coffees as well as the milk steaming. I really enjoyed this three day course, Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to step into a Hospitality/Barista career even if you're a beginner.


I started this course with basic English and almost nothing knowledge of the coffee world (I speak Spanish and I love tea).
What to say... both teachers were very patient and kind, and I learned a lot of things and techniques.
Now I can prepare a good and tasty coffees, some beverages with coffee, a good tea and use and clean the different machines ;)

Super recommended!
