This delicious washed blend of Caturra and Yellow Bourbon varietals has notes of dried fruits and dark chocolate. Finca El Gorrión is located in the region of Matagalpa, named after the capital city of the same name. Situated at 1100 metres above sea level and surrounded by rich volcanic soils give this coffee it's complex flavour profile. This delicious washed processed coffee has notes of sweet apple and milk chocolate. The sloping hills within the department of El Paraiso, form unique micro climates around Alejandro Enriquez’s farm. Our current in-store single origin offering for our espresso and filter brews is from the Rukago coffee washing station (CWS), Burundi.This washed coffee, from the Rukago Coffee Washing Station (CWS), has a syrupy body with notes of sultana and baking spice.  Bordered by Rwanda, the Kayanza region is known for its production of specialty coffee in Burundi. The Rukago CWS works with local farmers and sources Red Bourbon cherries from the four surrounding hills.
