For the novice or to re-calibrate existing barista skills, we go back to basics in a comprehensive session from bean to cup. Espresso, milk texturing, basic recipes and cleaning are all thoroughly covered. 


This is an intensive 2 hour one-on-one programme that aims to introduce participants to the background of espresso production as well as give them first hand exposure to the practical elements behind a cup of coffee. It is also a fantastic opportunity to get behind the scenes of the industry and see what’s really involved in a cup of coffee.

Courses dates available below. We run sessions every Monday and Friday; 10am to 12pm from our Wellington Roastery. Unfortunately we are unable to run trainings from our Auckland locations.

The course is held at our roastery at Shed 13, 37 Customhouse Quay on Wellington’s Waterfront.
