 This year, we took part in Māori Language Week in all of our cafés. To help our customers and staff learn te reo, we designed some handy ‘How to order your coffee in te reo Māori’ cards, which included useful phrases and the Māori words for your favourite coffee order.  We had such a positive response from our customers that we have made te reo visible on all our menus from here on out! We think incorporating te reo Māori into our everyday language is essential and we’re lucky to be able to see the same regulars each day which gives them (and us)...
