Danny is a barista at our Vulcan Lane café in Auckland. He loves playing the drums, football and coffee. It’s that time of year and our top baristas are getting ready to compete in the Meadow Fresh New Zealand Barista Championships 2019! This year Logan will be competing again! L: I'll be using a naturally processed coffee from the farm Finca Linares in Risaralda, Colombia. Our coffee team visited Tanna Island, Vanuatu to meet with the Middle Bush Chief and his community of small-holder coffee farmers. This opportunity was made possible by Nasi Tuan, an NGO (Non governmental organisation), funded by the New Zealand government to assist the not for profit, Taloa Coffee co-operative. Recently we had the pleasure of working with Air New Zealand to celebrate the launch of their direct Chicago flights. With our flagship US store being in the other Windy City, it was a great opportunity to connect and share a slice of the Mojo way with some of the local Chicagoans.
